Applegreen is seeking a Convenience Store General Manager in South Carolina to run daily operations with a focus on profitability, staff leadership, and guest satisfaction. You will oversee stock control, scheduling, cash handling, and reporting while ensuring high standards of cleanliness and customer service.

The role requires strong leadership, budget awareness, and the ability to drive sales targets in a fast-paced retail environment at the Cromer Rd Express Lane/Pitt Stop location.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• High School/GED required.
• Retail management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Staff management: interview, selection, and training of all staff for the retail location.
• Oversee schedules and work of staff.
• Manage daily sales reports, cash receipts, deposits, and adherence to company policies.
• Maintain store standards in housekeeping, merchandising, presentation and service.
• Hold regular staff meetings to ensure plans are executed.
• Address customer needs and resolve issues to ensure positive relationships.
• Verify inventory data with spot counts and checks.
• Collaborate with regional managers on cost-effective advertising and hiring strategies.
• Keep the store clean and inviting and achieve gross and net margin targets.
