Job summary

True Religion in New York seeks an Assistant Store Manager for Kings Plaza to drive sales and operations with a hands-on leadership style. You will coach associates and uphold brand standards to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

You are a hands-on retail leader with 1–3 years in supervision, HS diploma required (BA preferred). Compensation ranges $22–$25/hour, full-time, non-exempt, with benefits.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in a retail supervisory, key-holder, or management role in fashion.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to support store KPIs, including sales, payroll, and shrink.
• Strong coaching and communication skills with a hands-on leadership approach.
• Experience supporting visual merchandising, inventory management, and loss prevention practices.
• Ability to lead in a fast-paced, high-volume retail environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfort learning retail systems and technology.

Responsibilities

• Support Business Results: drive KPIs like sales, payroll, conversion, and shrink.
• Lead on the Floor: act as Manager on Duty, lead shifts and set expectations.
• Communicate Effectively: reinforce priorities and goals with the team.
• Coach & Develop Associates: provide training, coaching, and feedback.
• Execute with Ownership: plan daily workload, staffing, and floor execution.
• Problem Solve & Protect Assets: address issues in real time and support loss prevention.
• Deliver Exceptional Customer Experience: model brand-selling culture on the floor.
• Operational Excellence: assist with scheduling, payroll controls, and policy compliance.
• Visual & Inventory Execution: maintain merchandising standards and stockroom order.
• Other assigned tasks as needed.
