Job summary

True Religion is seeking an Assistant Store Manager for Jersey Gardens to support the Store Manager in driving store performance, sales execution, and exceptional customer experience on the sales floor. This role leads on daily operations, coaches associates, and upholds brand standards to maintain performance, engagement, and consistency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years of experience in a retail supervisory, key-holder, or management role within a specialty or fashion environment.
• Strong coaching and communication skills with a hands-on leadership approach.
• Experience supporting visual merchandising, inventory management, and loss prevention practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfort learning retail systems and technology.

Responsibilities

• Support Business Results: Partner with the Store Manager to drive store KPIs including sales, payroll, conversion, and shrink while maintaining standards.
• Lead on the Floor: Act as Manager on Duty, set expectations, lead shifts, and maintain a positive store environment.
• Communicate Effectively: Reinforce daily priorities and goals with clear communication across the team.
• Coach & Develop Associates: Provide ongoing training, coaching, and feedback for performance and growth.
• Execute with Ownership: Plan daily workload, staffing, and floor execution to meet business needs.
• Problem Solve & Protect Assets: Address challenges in real time and support loss prevention and safety practices.
• Deliver Exceptional Customer Experience: Model brand-selling culture and coach on-the-spot interactions.
• Operational Excellence: Assist with scheduling, payroll controls, policy execution, and compliance.
• Visual & Inventory Execution: Maintain visual merchandising standards and inventory accuracy.
