Job description

The Store Facilities Team Member is responsible for performing general maintenance functions in and around Fleet Farm’s property. The position also involves maintaining neat and clean public spaces.

Job duties include:

  1. Providing friendly and efficient customer service in all interactions.
  2. Performing basic inspections and repairs on equipment such as forklifts, floor scrubbers, generators, etc.
  3. Submitting maintenance work orders when external expertise is needed.
  4. Maintaining walkways and parking lot areas, including snow and ice removal, salting/sanding, and repairing ruts and potholes.
  5. Performing routine maintenance on the car wash, including inspections of soap and wax levels, nozzle flows, vacuums, waste levels, and cleanliness.
  6. Keeping the interior and exterior of the facility clean and well-maintained, including lights, signage, grass and weed control, and cart corrals.
  7. Cleaning and polishing floors, windows, mirrors, vending machines, and ice machines.
  8. Cleaning public areas such as floors, service areas, restrooms, furniture, and vents.

Job requirements and education:

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Basic knowledge of maintenance functions is preferred.
