Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking a Store Associate to support store teams by cleaning, stocking, and ensuring a safe, organized shopping environment. You will greet customers, handle inquiries, and follow security and safety guidelines to uphold a high standard of customer service.

Qualifications

• Ability to work unsupervised.
• Weekend/holiday/evening shifts.
• Effective communication with associates and guests.
• Accurate reading/writing for required paperwork.
• Operate all store equipment as needed.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Lift up to 25 pounds.
• Lift up to 50 pounds on occasion.
• Access all areas of the store including selling floor, stock, and register area.
• Able to reach, bend, twist, stoop, kneel and/or crouch during a shift.
• Climb ladders/stairs.
• Work in intermittent temperatures (cooler/outside).

Responsibilities

• Clean, stock and monitor public areas.
• Adhere to safety, security, quality and store policies.
• Greet customers and provide a positive shopping experience.
• Respond to customer inquiries promptly.
• Engage customers using the corporate service model.
• Maintain signing and visual attributes.
• Stock merchandise and coolers.
• Assist other locations as needed.
