Job description

Store - MACON, GA

Maintain a high standard of overall look and feel of the store, including cleanliness and recovery standards, to deliver our Brand Promises. Deliver friendly customer service, assist customers in shopping and finding products.

1. Collect and dispose of trash following approved procedures.
2. Dust and damp mop floors following approved procedures.
3. Move equipment and products for proper cleaning and return products to correct placement.
4. Clean assigned areas with designated materials and equipment.
   • May require mixing water and detergents to prepare cleaning solutions as specified.
5. Deep clean key areas such as bathrooms, breakrooms, entryways, and high traffic zones to maintain a safe, clean environment.
6. Keep cleaning equipment neat; notify supervisor of supply needs.
7. Identify areas needing cleaning and proactively complete tasks.
8. Complete all tasks assigned by supervisor.
9. Perform tasks in compliance with federal, state, and county guidelines.
10. Maintain positive interactions with team members and customers, embodying the organization’s values.
11. Project a positive image and serve as a role model for team members.

Additional duties may include:

1. Providing a friendly checkout experience and handling cash according to standards.
2. Engaging customers about Rewards and Credit Card programs and assisting with enrollments.
3. Supporting Omni channel processes like BOPIS and SFS.
4. Participating in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram processes.
5. Supporting shrink and safety initiatives.
6. Adhering to SOPs and company policies for legal compliance.

Preferred Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

Experience in retail and/or cleaning preferred.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment:

• Ability to stand for long periods, move around the store, bend, lift, carry, reach, and stretch.
• Lifting heavy boxes and using ladders or similar equipment for high shelves.
• Work may include outdoor tasks, some outdoor work, and working nights, weekends, or early mornings.
• Use of standard cleaning chemicals and supplies.

Legal and Age Requirements:

Applicants must meet federal, state, and local legal requirements. Must be at least 16 years old.
