Job summary

Michaels is hiring for a retail associate in a store environment. You’ll maintain cleanliness, assist customers, and provide a friendly checkout experience, while helping customers enroll in Rewards and Private Label Cards. The role also supports BOPIS and Ship from Store processes, stocking, and planogram compliance in a climate-controlled public retail setting.

Expect physical activity like standing, lifting, and moving items, with shifts including nights, weekends, and early mornings. U.S.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or cleaning experience preferred.
• Must be at least sixteen (16) years old and eligible to work in the U.S.
• Ability to stand long periods and lift heavy boxes as part of the job.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of store appearance; clean, dust and mop floors and bathrooms.
• Provide a fast, friendly checkout experience and handle cash to standards; enroll customers in Rewards and Private Label Credit Cards.
• Assist with Omni channel processes (Buy Online Pickup in Store, Ship from Store) and stocking/planogram tasks.
• Notify supervisor of supply needs; participate in shrink, safety and SOP compliance.
• Engage customers with a positive attitude and professional interactions with team members.

Store - MAB - Mableton, GAMaintain a high standard of overall look and feel of the store which includes maintaining store cleanliness and recovery standards to deliver our Brand Promises.
