Store - MSP-BURNSVILLE, MN
Maintain a high standard of overall look and feel of the store, including cleanliness and recovery standards, to deliver our Brand Promises. Provide friendly customer service, assist customers in shopping and finding products.
Responsibilities include:
- Collect and dispose of trash following approved procedures.
- Dust and damp mop floors following approved procedures.
- Move equipment and products for cleaning and return products to correct placement.
- Clean assigned areas using designated materials and equipment, including preparing cleaning solutions as needed.
- Deep clean high-traffic areas such as bathrooms, breakrooms, and entryways to maintain a safe environment.
- Keep cleaning equipment organized and notify supervisors when supplies need replenishing.
- Identify areas needing cleaning and proactively complete tasks.
- Complete all tasks assigned by supervisors, following federal, state, and local guidelines.
- Maintain positive interactions with team members and customers, serving as a role model.
Additional duties may include:
- Providing a fast and friendly checkout experience, including cash handling.
- Engaging customers about Rewards programs and Private Label Credit Cards, and assisting with enrollments.
- Supporting Omni channel processes like BOPIS and SFS.
- Participating in truck unload, stocking, and planogram processes.
- Supporting shrink and safety programs.
- Adhering to SOPs and company policies to ensure legal compliance.
Preferred Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Experience in retail and/or cleaning is preferred.
Physical Requirements and Work Environment
- Ability to stand for long periods and move throughout the store.
- Regular bending, lifting, reaching, and stretching, including lifting heavy boxes and using ladders.
- Work may involve outdoor tasks, some nights, weekends, and early mornings.
- Use of standard cleaning chemicals and equipment.
