What is a Store Driver?

An entry-level store position responsible for supporting the delivery of parts to commercial customers. The role includes delivering parts, assisting with inventory and task processes in the store, and must be fleet safety certified. This position can be part-time or full-time.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Safely deliver parts to customers
  • Pick and stage parts for orders
  • Pick up returns and cores
  • Distribute weekly/monthly sales flyers
  • Manage daily collection of credit accounts
Secondary Responsibilities
  • Maintain store cleanliness
  • Stock parts, including truck and back stock
Success Factors
  • Basic driving and navigation skills
  • Proficiency with delivery systems
  • Friendly communication skills
  • Ability to locate and stock parts
  • Knowledge of safety procedures
  • Operating inventory systems and store equipment

Preferred Experience

Automotive parts experience is preferred.

Certificates and Licenses

Valid driver’s license and fleet safety certification required.

Physical Demands

Must be able to walk, stand, lift up to 50 pounds regularly, and up to 100 pounds occasionally. Visual and physical dexterity are required.

Work Environment

Primarily indoor work, with occasional outdoor tasks in various weather conditions. Exposure to mechanical parts, chemicals, and noise is possible.
