Job Description

What is a Store Driver?

An entry-level store position responsible for supporting the delivery of parts to commercial customers. The role involves delivering parts, assisting with task and inventory processes in the store, and must be fleet safety certified. This position can be part-time or full-time.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Safely deliver parts to customers
  • Pick and stage parts for customer orders
  • Handle returns and cores
  • Distribute weekly/monthly sales flyers
  • Collect credit accounts daily
Secondary Responsibilities
  • Maintain store cleanliness (floors, bathrooms, dusting, parking lot)
  • Stock inventory, including truck and back stock
Success Factors
  • Basic driving and navigation skills
  • Ability to use delivery system software

Prior Experience

Physical Demands

Must be able to walk, stand, lift up to 50 pounds regularly, and occasionally lift up to 100 pounds. Tasks include climbing, balancing, and reaching.

Work Environment

Primarily indoor work with occasional outdoor tasks in various weather conditions. Exposure to moving mechanical parts, chemicals, and noise is possible.
