What is a Store Driver?

An entry-level store position responsible for supporting the delivery of parts to commercial customers, assisting with tasks and inventory processes in the store. The role can be part-time or full-time and requires fleet safety certification.

Primary Responsibilities

1. Safely deliver parts to customers as needed
2. Pick and stage parts for customer orders
3. Pick up returns and cores
4. Distribute weekly/monthly sales flyers
5. Collect credit payments daily

Secondary Responsibilities

1. Maintain store cleanliness (floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, parking lot)
2. Stock shelves, including truck and back stock

Success Factors

• Basic driving and navigation skills
• Ability to use delivery system software
• Friendly communication skills
• Ability to locate and stock parts efficiently
• Knowledge of safety procedures
• Experience with inventory systems and store equipment

Essential Job Skills

Physical Demands

Must be able to walk, stand, lift up to 50 pounds regularly, and up to 100 pounds occasionally. Visual and physical dexterity are necessary.

Work Environment

Primarily indoor work, with occasional outdoor tasks in various weather conditions. Exposure to moving parts, chemicals, electrical hazards, and noise is possible.
