What is a Store Driver?

An entry-level store position responsible for supporting the delivery of parts to commercial customers. The role includes delivering parts, assisting with inventory and task management in the store. This position can be part-time or full-time and requires fleet safety certification.

Primary Responsibilities

1. Safely deliver parts to customers as needed
2. Pick and stage parts for customer orders
3. Pick up returns and cores
4. Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers
5. Collect credit accounts daily

Secondary Responsibilities

• Maintain store cleanliness (floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, parking lot)
• Stocking tasks including truck and back stock

Success Factors

• Basic driving and navigation skills
• Ability to use delivery system software
• Friendly communication skills
• Ability to locate and stock parts efficiently
• Knowledge of safety practices
• Operating inventory systems and store equipment

Preferred Experience

Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations

Physical Demands

This role requires walking, standing, talking, hearing, and manual dexterity. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 100 pounds. Visual acuity is also required.

Work Environment

The work is primarily indoors but includes outdoor tasks in various weather conditions. Exposure to mechanical parts, heights, chemicals, and noise may occur.
