What is a Store Driver?

An entry-level store position responsible for supporting the delivery of parts to commercial customers. The role includes delivering parts, assisting with inventory and task processes in the store. This position can be part-time or full-time and requires fleet safety certification.

Primary Responsibilities

• Safely deliver parts to customers
• Pick and stage parts for customer orders
• Pick up returns and cores
• Distribute weekly/monthly sales flyers
• Collect credit account payments daily

Secondary Responsibilities

• Maintain store cleanliness (floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, parking lot)
• Stocking including truck and back stock

Success Factors

• Basic driving and navigation skills
• Ability to use delivery systems
• Friendly communication skills
• Ability to locate and stock parts
• Knowledge of safety procedures
• Operating inventory systems and store equipment

Preferred Experience

Automotive parts experience is preferred.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

Physical Demands

Ability to walk, stand, lift up to 50 pounds regularly, and up to 100 pounds occasionally. Must have good vision and dexterity.

Work Environment

Primarily indoor work, with occasional outdoor tasks in various weather conditions. Exposure to mechanical parts, chemicals, and noise is possible.
