What is a Store Driver?

An entry-level store position responsible for supporting the delivery of parts to commercial customers. The role includes delivering parts, assisting with task and inventory processes in the store, and ensuring fleet safety certification. This position can be part-time or full-time.

Primary Responsibilities

1. Safely deliver parts to customers.
2. Pick and stage parts for customer orders.
3. Handle returns and cores.
4. Distribute weekly/monthly sales flyers.
5. Collect credit accounts daily.

Secondary Responsibilities

1. Maintain store cleanliness, including floors, bathrooms, and parking lot.
2. Stock parts, including truck stocking and back stock.

Success Factors

• Basic driving and navigation skills.
• Ability to use delivery board systems.

• Knowledge of safety procedures.
• Experience with inventory systems and store equipment.

Prior Experience

Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations

Physical Demands

Primarily walking or standing, with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally. Must have good vision and physical dexterity.

Work Environment

Mostly indoor work, with occasional outdoor tasks in various weather conditions. Exposure to moving mechanical parts, chemicals, and noise levels is possible.
