What is a Store Driver?

An entry-level store position responsible for supporting the delivery of parts to commercial customers. The role includes delivering parts, assisting with tasks, and managing inventory in the store. This position can be part-time or full-time and requires fleet safety certification.

Primary Responsibilities

1. Safely deliver parts to customers as needed
2. Pick and stage parts for customer orders
3. Pick up returns and cores
4. Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers
5. Collect credit payments daily

Secondary Responsibilities

• Maintain store cleanliness (floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, parking lot)
• Stock store and trucks, manage back stock

Success Factors

• Basic driving and navigation skills

Prior Experience

Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations

Physical Demands

This role requires walking, standing, talking, hearing, and manual dexterity. Employees must be able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally. Vision requirements include close, distance, color, and depth perception.

Work Environment

The work is primarily indoors but may involve outdoor tasks in various weather conditions. Exposure to moving mechanical parts, chemicals, electrical hazards, and noise is possible.
