Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Delivery Driver to pick, stage and deliver parts to pro customers while promoting sales and loyalty programs. You will handle returns, upsell products, and build relationships with customers at a busy Gaithersburg location.

The role requires effective communication, basic math, and the ability to work flexible days, evenings, and weekends. Safety and knowledge of inventory systems are essential to success.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to read safety rules, operating instructions and parts catalogs.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
• Handle returns and cores; promote current sales and loyalty programs.
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand needs and recommend parts or services.
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling to increase transaction value.
• Maintain store cleanliness and organize stock.
• Operate inventory systems and store equipment.
• Provide accurate math for transactions and invoicing.
