What is a Store Driver?

An entry-level store position responsible for supporting the delivery of parts to commercial customers. The role involves delivering parts, assisting with tasks, and managing inventory in the store. This position can be part-time or full-time and requires fleet safety certification.

Primary Responsibilities

• Safely deliver parts to customers
• Pick and stage parts for orders
• Handle returns and cores
• Distribute weekly/monthly sales flyers
• Collect credit payments daily

Secondary Responsibilities

• Maintain store cleanliness (floors, bathrooms, parking lot)
• Stock parts, including truck and back stock

• Basic driving and navigation skills
• Proficiency with delivery systems

• Ability to locate and stock parts efficiently

Physical Demands

This role requires walking, standing, talking, hearing, and the use of hands and fingers. Lifting up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally is necessary. Vision abilities include close, distance, color, and depth perception. The work environment is primarily indoors but may include outdoor tasks in various weather conditions and exposure to mechanical parts, chemicals, and noise.
