Job summary

Advance Auto Parts in the United States is seeking a dependable driver to pick, stage and deliver parts to professional customers. You will also handle returns, distribute flyers for current sales and loyalty programs, and collect credit accounts.

Build strong relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers while offering upsell opportunities. Maintain a clean, well-stocked store and assist customers with their automotive needs.

Qualifications

• Speak and write English; Spanish a plus; communicate effectively and build relationships with customers, peers and leadership.
• Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs and manuals.
• Use basic math for all units; understand fractions and decimals; perform calculations.
• Automotive parts experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
• Pick up returns and cores.
• Drop off weekly/monthly sale flyers promoting current sales and loyalty programs.
• Daily collection of credit accounts.
• Build relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers; provide CPP insights.
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling to increase transaction value.
• Maintain store cleanliness, floors, bathrooms, and stock areas.
• General stocking including back stock and cycle counts.
• Maintain knowledge of inventory and new arrivals to assist sales.
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand needs and recommend parts/services.
• Other duties as assigned.
