What is a Store Driver?

An entry-level store position responsible for delivering parts to commercial customers, supporting inventory processes, and assisting with store tasks. The role can be part-time or full-time and requires fleet safety certification.

Primary Responsibilities
  1. Safely deliver parts to customers
  2. Pick and stage parts for orders
  3. Handle returns and cores
  4. Distribute weekly/monthly sales flyers
  5. Collect credit payments daily
Secondary Responsibilities
  1. Maintain store cleanliness (floors, bathrooms, parking lot)
  2. Stock parts, including truck and back stock
Success Factors
  1. Basic driving and navigation skills
  2. Familiarity with delivery systems
  3. Friendly communication skills
  4. Ability to locate and stock parts
  5. Knowledge of safety procedures
  6. Experience with inventory systems and store equipment

Prior Experience

Automotive parts experience is preferred.

Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations

Physical Demands

This role requires walking, standing, talking, hearing, using hands, reaching, climbing, and lifting up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally. Vision abilities include close, distance, color, and depth perception. Work involves indoor and outdoor environments with exposure to weather, mechanical parts, chemicals, and noise.

Work Environment

Primarily inside, with occasional outdoor tasks, exposure to various conditions, and safety hazards.

Compensation Range

$15.95 - $16.95 per hour
