Job Description

What is a Store Driver?

Entry level store position responsible for supporting the delivery of parts to commercial customers. The role involves delivering parts, assisting with tasks and inventory processes in the store. This position can be part-time or full-time and requires fleet safety certification.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Safely deliver parts to customers
  • Pick and stage parts for customer orders
  • Handle returns and cores
  • Distribute weekly/monthly sales flyers
  • Collect credit accounts daily
Secondary Responsibilities
  • Maintain store cleanliness
  • Stocking, including truck and back stock
Success Factors
  • Basic driving and navigation skills
  • Ability to use delivery systems
  • Friendly communication skills
  • Ability to locate and stock parts
  • Knowledge of safety protocols

Prior Experience

Automotive parts experience is preferred.

Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations

Physical Demands

Primarily walking and standing, ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally, with or without accommodations.

Work Environment

Mostly indoor work, with some outdoor exposure to weather, mechanical parts, chemicals, and other hazards. Moderate noise level.
