Job Description

What is a Store Driver?

Entry-level store position responsible for supporting the delivery of parts to commercial customers. The role includes delivering parts, assisting with tasks and inventory processes in the store. This position can be part-time or full-time and requires fleet safety certification.

Primary Responsibilities

• Safely deliver parts to customers
• Pick and stage parts for customer orders
• Handle returns and cores
• Distribute weekly/monthly sales flyers
• Collect credit accounts daily

Secondary Responsibilities

• Maintain store cleanliness (floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, parking lot)
• Stocking tasks, including truck and back stock

Success Factors

• Basic driving and navigation skills
• Ability to use delivery systems
• Friendly communication skills
• Ability to locate and stock parts
• Knowledge of safety procedures
• Operating inventory systems and store equipment

Work Environment

Primarily indoor work with occasional outdoor tasks in various weather conditions. Exposure to mechanical parts, chemicals, electrical hazards, and noise is possible.
