Job summary

King Ranch, Inc. is seeking a store driver to support shipping and receiving across farms and maintenance facilities in Texas. This full-time role requires operating company trucks over 4 tons and delivering materials locally.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of verifiable driving experience, a valid CDL, a medical certificate, and a commitment to safety. You must be 21+ and willing to overnight when needed.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate company owned and leased trucks over 4 tons to facilitate shipping and receiving.
• Deliver, pickup, and relocate materials as required.
• Perform required before, during, and after operation maintenance and reports.
• Provide outstanding customer service during delivery and pickup operations.
• Maintain all required certifications per DOT, OSHA, and safety programs.
• Protect company property in excellent condition.

Job Description

A store driver will primarily consist of local vehicle operations involving positioning and moving trucks and trailers on and between farms and maintenance facilities.

What to Expect in the Role:

• Operating company owned and leased trucks over 4 tons to facilitate shipping and receiving operations.
• Operate trucks for delivery, pickup, and relocation of materials.
• Perform required before, during, and after operation “user maintenance” and provide required reports.
• Provide outstanding customer service during delivery and pickup operations.
• Maintain all required certifications required by DOT, OSHA, and company safety programs.
• Maintain and protect all property entrusted to you in excellent condition.

What We Will Be Needing From You:

• Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience.
• Valid CDL required with a minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have only one valid commercial driver’s license.
• Must have a valid medical certificate.
• Ability to always operate and maintain equipment safely.
• Ability to know how to safely load, block, brace, and secure cargo.
• Ability to make overnight runs as required by shipping needs.
• Must be able to learn to operate all MHE used by the company.
• Ability to understand and comply with posted work rules and procedures.
