What is a Store Driver?

An entry-level store position responsible for supporting the delivery of parts to commercial customers. The role involves delivering parts, assisting with tasks and inventory processes in the store. This position can be part-time or full-time and requires fleet safety certification.

Primary Responsibilities

1. Safely deliver parts to customers as needed
2. Pick and stage parts for customer orders
3. Pick up returns and cores
4. Distribute weekly/monthly sales flyers
5. Collect credit accounts daily

Secondary Responsibilities

1. Maintain store cleanliness, including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, and parking lot
2. Stock store and truck back stock

Success Factors

Prior Experience

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

Physical Demands

The role requires walking, standing, talking, hearing, and using hands and fingers. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally. Vision abilities include close, distance, color, and depth perception.

Work Environment

Primarily indoor work, with occasional outdoor tasks exposed to weather, moving mechanical parts, chemicals, and noise. Safety precautions are necessary due to various environmental risks.
