Job summary

Maverik is seeking a Store Director Flex to lead diverse stores, drive performance, and deliver exceptional customer experiences across locations. You will be the versatile leader, coaching Team Members, ensuring safety and standards, and maintaining peak store operations throughout your district.

During training, you will learn the Maverik way and transition to a salaried Store DirectorFlex role upon successful completion.

Responsibilities

• Lead store teams across multiple locations to drive performance.

• Facilitate ongoing development of leaders and store teams through Company training programs.
• Collaborate on P&L management, business plans, and budgets with District Manager and Sr Director of Regional Operations.
• Implement company initiatives and foster coaching, engagement, and teamwork across locations.
• Lead operational excellence through best practices, productivity, and standard adherence.
• Oversee food program knowledge, including open/close workflows, food prep, and sanitation.
• Provide cross-functional coverage as the store operations backbone during peak times.

Store Director Flex

Salary: $62,000 - $70,000 per year with eligibility for a bonus program. Hourly
compensation during training, transitioning to a salaried position upon
successful completion of training.

Upon successful completion, you will transition to a salaried Store DirectorFlex role.

Training Details:

• Duration: 6 weeks
• Hourly Pay During Training: $30.00 - $34.00/hr. (This position will become salaried upon completion of training)

Key Responsibilities:

• Champion GET: Champion Maverik's GET (Greet, Engage, and
  Thank) customer service expectations by modeling the behaviors, coaching Team Members on consistent execution, and holding the team accountable for a welcoming and engaging customer experience.
• Travel: Must be able to travel within an assigned district. Overnight stays may be required.
• Training and Development: Facilitate the ongoing development of leaders and the store team by ensuring the delivery of all Company training programs.
• P&L Management: Collaborate with the District Manager and Sr Director of Regional Operations on P&L management, business plans, and budgets.
• Company Initiatives: Implement company initiatives, enhance the customer experience, and foster a culture of coaching, engagement, and teamwork.
• Operational Excellence: Lead the store team in implementing best practices, measuring operational efficiencies, improving productivity, and achieving operational standards.
• Food Program Ownership: Maintain total operational knowledge of kitchen processes (including opening/closing workflows, food prep, and sanitation) to support, audit, and coach the Food Service Manager.
• Cross-Functional Coverage: Serve as the ultimate operational backup across all store departments, including the kitchen during peak volume or staffing shortages.

Physical Requirements:

• This position involves frequent standing, walking, handling, and horizontal reaching. It also requires reaching above shoulder level and below the waist, as well as activities such as bending, stooping, squatting, crouching, kneeling, and pushing. The role may involve lifting, carrying, or moving objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work safely with equipment that generates and maintains high temperatures, while wearing appropriate personal protective equipment.
