Job summary

Brobston Group LLC is seeking a Store Director for its New York flagship who will act as the business owner and Fendi Brand Ambassador. The role drives store performance, manages the team, merchandise, and operations to meet sales targets while delivering exceptional client experiences.

The candidate will work cross-functionally with corporate, merchandising and events teams to grow the business and execute local initiatives in a premier luxury environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure appropriate stock and assortment levels; manage cycle counts and shrink control.
• Oversee visual merchandising, displays and window installations to maximize sell-through.
• Lead customer service standards, clienteling and VIP relationship development.
• Recruit, coach and develop the store team; set goals and monitor performance.
• Manage administrative and operational tasks including reporting and compliance with KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Drive and improve overall sales performance; analyze results and implement action plans.
• Develop sales strategy and collaborate with corporate and merchandising partners.
• Identify market opportunities and organize local events and incentives to grow the business.
• Ensure appropriate stock and assortment levels; manage cycle counts, inventory accuracy and shrink control.
• Oversee visual merchandising, displays and window installations to maximize sell-through.
• Lead customer service standards, clienteling and VIP relationship development.
• Recruit, coach and develop the store team; set goals and monitor performance.
• Manage administrative and operational tasks including reporting, petty cash and compliance with KPIs and policies.

Requirements

• 10 years of proven experience; luxury retail preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience with POS systems and inventory management; RTW experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational and digital literacy skills.
• Ability to lift up to 10 lbs and flexible availability for some nights, weekends and holidays.
• Foreign language skills are a plus.
