Job summary

Aquent is partnering with a leading retail brand to recruit a design professional who will shape the physical experience of stores. You will translate global design standards into store-specific layouts, lead projects from concept to completion, and ensure brand consistency across a broad store network.

The role requires hands-on expertise in retail design, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and the ability to manage multiple initiatives while maintaining high design integrity and budget

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, interior architecture, or interior design from an accredited program.
• 3–5 years of relevant design experience, retail experience preferred.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Bluebeam, SketchUp; working knowledge of Enscape, InDesign, Photoshop, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
• Strong 3D modeling, rendering, and presentation capabilities.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and design drawings.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed floor plans, storefront elevations, 3D models, renderings, and presentations.
• Apply brand standards and design guidelines across a retail network.
• Manage multiple store design initiatives through all project phases.
• Review drawings and construction docs for accuracy and adherence to standards.
• Create and revise precise drawings using AutoCAD and related tools.
• Produce 3D visuals to communicate concepts to stakeholders.
• Coordinate with third-party consultants to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Present design solutions to cross‑functional partners and influence decisions.
• Collaborate with construction, visual merchandising, store operations, and procurement.
