Job summary

Associated Wholesale Grocers (AWG) is seeking a Store Planner to design and coordinate grocery store development projects. You will create floor plans, advise members on store development and equipment needs, and work with Architects and Engineers to develop drawings while coordinating installation.

The role requires CAD proficiency and collaboration across departments. Some travel to Kansas/Missouri is expected, with a hybrid work model supporting travel and site visits.

Qualifications

• Design experience using CAD software.
• Exposure to construction management techniques and site visits.
• Knowledge of construction documents and specifications.
• Experience presenting to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Meet with member retailers to design fixture layouts and specify building components.
• Prepare bid lists and quote equipment for retail stores.
• Supervise construction activities including selecting architects/engineers and reviewing documents.
• Coordinate equipment installation and manage project budgets and travel.
