Job summary

Veronica Beard is seeking a Store Development professional in New York to bring retail and wholesale environments to life. You will develop design packages, coordinate store configurations, and manage vendor relationships to source materials and fixtures.

This role also handles budgeting support, drawing housekeeping, and ensuring on-brand execution across stores, with travel as needed. 3–5 years in retail design and CAD/3D tool proficiency are preferred.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years' experience in a similar role within retail design, interior design, and/or sketching.
• Proficient in 3D modeling, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office.
• Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD or similar.
• Ability to source and present decorative items for selection.
• Highly organized and proactive, capable of multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.
• Communicates effectively and professionally.
• Travel on an as-needed basis.

Responsibilities

• Develop design packages, including floorplan layouts, fixture packages and material boards.
• Manage vendor relationships and assist in sourcing materials, furniture, and fixtures for retail stores.
• Coordinate store improvement rollouts consisting of store configurations and/or upgrades of existing stores.
• Assist or manage conceptualization of store fixture packages to maximize selling opportunity.
• Manage new store coming soon signage package.
• Maintain drawing packages, design manuals, and material packages throughout projects.
• Maintain current interior design elements in stores and manage repairs and maintenance.
• Create and maintain interior spec book and sample library.
• Create POs, process invoices, track approvals, and ensure timely processing.
• Support or manage construction budgets, costs, and expenses for projects.

• Support or manage construction budgets, costs, and expenses for overall projects

Qualifications

The base salary range for this role is between $65,000 and $75,000. The relevant base salary will vary depending on wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training, degrees, and certifications. The base salary is just one component of our total compensation offerings, which consist of a comprehensive benefits package as well as a short-term incentive program, clothing allowance, and merchandise discounts
