Description
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Delivery Driver will deliver parts to a pre-determined group of customers. The driver should be friendly, courteous, and able to work well in a team environment. The goal is to make deliveries in a timely manner while adhering to all federal, state, local laws, and company policies.
Knowledge, Skills, Duties And Abilities
- Deliver orders accurately to customers via driving a vehicle.
- Pick up cores and returns from customers, and process credits accurately.
- Handle and report customer problems to the Store or Warehouse Manager.
- Report to work in a timely manner.
- Provide basic vehicle care and maintenance.
- Maintain a valid driver's license and driving record that meets standards.
- Follow all policies as outlined in the Employee Handbook, Driver's Handbook, and Fleet Safety Policy.
- Assist in special projects as requested.
Conditions Of Employment
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) required prior to hire and must be maintained.
- Complete a pre-employment drug test.
Work Schedule
Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, and weekends as needed.

Physical Demands And Working Environment
- Lift up to 50 lbs unassisted; more with assistance.
- Frequently sit for long periods.

- Climb, balance, crawl, talk, speak, and hear.
- Vision abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
- May be exposed to various environmental conditions and hazards.
- Moderate to heavy noise level.
- Must have mobility and ability to read/speak English sufficiently.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and check fluids regularly.
- Follow all safety and driving policies and report accidents/injuries immediately.
Required & Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED (preferred).
- Satisfactory MVR.
