Job summary

Town Pump is seeking a motivated Store Deli Attendant to join our team in a fast-paced retail deli environment. You will prepare food per our recipe manual, ensure accurate portioning, weigh and bake or cook items, and uphold strict food safety practices.

In addition to food preparation, you will maintain clean, sanitized workstations, label and store items correctly, and keep hot and cold serving areas stocked.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food according to recipe manual, measuring, portioning, weighing and cooking.

• Keep service areas stocked and organized, including coffee, condiments, and snack stations.
• Perform clerk duties as described for smaller locations.

As a Deli Attendant, You Will

• prepare food according to the recipe manual by cutting, measuring, weighing, portioning, peeling, baking, frying, and broasting, while following recipes for accuracy as well as proper food safety and hygiene practices.
• clean, sanitize, and maintain work areas and equipment. Store and label food properly to prevent it from spoiling, and organize and put away food supplies and equipment in their proper places.
• keep the hot dog roller, nacho and popcorn machines, condiment center, coffee, and fountain dispenser areas clean, filled, and stocked.
• perform all clerk duties in smaller locations as described in the clerk job description.
