Job summary

The GIANT Company in Temple, PA is seeking a dedicated team member to clean office spaces, restrooms, break rooms, and adjacent areas to keep our stores inviting for customers and colleagues. You will operate floor cleaners and power washers, remove trash, and address spills while following PPE requirements and company safety rules.

The role supports daily store operations and helps create a safe, comfortable environment for our community.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must read, write, and communicate in English regarding job duties and safety regulations.
• Must meet ergonomic and physical requirements, with or without accommodation.
• Must complete the introductory period (30 or 60 days).
• Must be able to use, or learn to use, cleaning equipment and tools.
• Must follow PPE rules and company safety policies.
• Must meet attendance and performance standards.
• Must wear proper clothing and safety shoes as required by the job.

Responsibilities

• Review the work schedule at shift start, prepare equipment and PPE.
• Clean and vacuum floors in office and conference spaces.
• Clean and mop tile floors in restrooms and break areas.
• Remove all trash, operate compactor and bailer, clean spills, and use power washer.
• Dust and wash surfaces.
• Wash mirrors, glass, surfaces, floors, and equipment in break rooms, lunchrooms, and restrooms.
• Resupply items as needed.
• Use floor cones to designate potentially hazardous floor conditions.
