Wegmans is seeking a maintenance team member to help keep our store clean, safe, and fully operational. You will respond quickly to maintenance calls, handle spills and equipment issues, and assist customers with questions to ensure a smooth shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred in a food service, restaurant, grocery or retail setting.
• Custodial/janitorial experience is a plus.
• Physical work includes standing, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working with cleaning chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Promptly respond to maintenance calls and attend to spills, breaks or accidents.
• Keep the store clean and safe, in pristine condition and work to prevent potential dangers.
• Assist customers by getting answers to questions they may have.
