Job Description

NAPA's Automotive Counter Sales Trainee role is ideal for energetic individuals passionate about automotive parts, committed to customer care, and eager to learn. As a trainee, you will learn to deliver exceptional NAPA Know How service to our Wholesale and Retail customers, assisting with auto parts questions, do-it-yourself projects, and auto parts needs. What we need from you

• Customer focus and high energy in our fast-paced stores
• Ability to operate a cash register and navigate computer and paper catalog systems
• Passion for delivering customer care in a team environment

Qualifications

• Strong automotive knowledge and experience, with a passion for customer service
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Motivated to learn and thrive in a busy retail environment
• Valid driver’s license and/or reliable transportation
• Prior retail experience, preferably in automotive parts, dealership, or similar
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to work retail hours including weekends and holidays
• Ability to process cash, checks, and credit card transactions
• Capable of lifting and moving up to 45 pounds
