Join to apply for the Store Counter Sales (Part Time) role at NAPA Auto Parts.

We are more than just a Parts Store, and we are looking for talented individuals to join our NAPA family! As a NAPA Counter Sales associate, you are the "face of the retail store" and the go-to person when customers come in for their automotive needs. You don’t need to be able to tear down motors (though that’s a bonus), but a background in automotive parts is helpful. This role is a great opportunity whether you want to build a career as a Parts Specialist, work full or part-time, or explore other career paths with us.

What You Will Be Doing
  • Providing auto parts solutions for retail and wholesale customers in person and over the phone
  • Assisting team members with customer questions using your parts knowledge
  • Delivering outstanding customer care and interactions
  • Bringing energy and customer focus to our fast-paced stores
  • Welcoming customers and ensuring a positive experience
  • Using technology such as computers, cash registers, and catalogs

What You’ll Need
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Experience in a parts store or automotive industry, or willingness to learn
  • High School Diploma or GED; technical or trade school is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment
  • Good listening skills and empathy for customers
Additional Preferences (Not Required)
  • Background or passion for automotive, heavy equipment, farm, diesel, marine, or dealership work
  • Experience with cataloging or inventory systems
  • Customer-centric mindset
  • ASE Certifications
