As a NAPA Counter Sales associate, you will be the "face of the retail store," assisting customers with their automotive needs. No need to tear down motors—though skills in automotive parts are a plus. This role is ideal whether you're looking for a career as a Parts Specialist, seeking full/part-time work, or exploring other opportunities within our company.

What You Will Be Doing

Providing auto parts solutions to retail and wholesale customers in person and over the phone
Assisting team members with customer questions using your parts knowledge
Delivering outstanding customer service and creating a positive shopping experience
Engaging with customers with energy and focus in a fast-paced environment
Using technology, including computers, cash registers, telephones, and paper catalogs

What You’ll Need

Valid Driver’s License
Experience in a parts store or automotive industry, or a willingness to learn
High School Diploma or GED; technical or trade school courses are a plus
Excellent communication skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail setting
Strong listening skills and empathy for customers

Additional Preferred Qualifications

Background or passion for automotive, heavy equipment, farm industry, diesel, marine, or dealership
Experience in auto parts retail, auction, auto body/collision
Knowledge of cataloging or inventory systems
Customer-centric mindset
ASE Certifications (a plus but not required)
