As a NAPA Counter Sales associate, you will be the "face of the retail store," assisting customers with their automotive needs. No need to tear down motors—though skills in automotive parts are a plus. This role is ideal whether you're looking for a career as a Parts Specialist, seeking full/part-time work, or exploring other opportunities within our company.

What You Will Be Doing
  • Providing auto parts solutions to retail and wholesale customers in person and over the phone
  • Assisting team members with customer questions using your parts knowledge
  • Delivering outstanding customer service and creating a positive shopping experience
  • Engaging with customers with energy and focus in a fast-paced environment
  • Using technology, including computers, cash registers, telephones, and paper catalogs

What You’ll Need
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Experience in a parts store or automotive industry, or a willingness to learn
  • High School Diploma or GED; technical or trade school courses are a plus
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail setting
  • Strong listening skills and empathy for customers
Additional Preferred Qualifications
  • Background or passion for automotive, heavy equipment, farm industry, diesel, marine, or dealership
  • Experience in auto parts retail, auction, auto body/collision
  • Knowledge of cataloging or inventory systems
  • Customer-centric mindset
  • ASE Certifications (a plus but not required)
