About
We are more than just a Parts Store, and we are looking for talented individuals to join our NAPA family!

As a NAPA Counter Sales associate, you are the “face of the retail store” and the go-to person for customers seeking automotive parts and advice.

You don’t need to be able to tear down engines (though it’s a plus), but a background in automotive parts is essential.

This role offers a great opportunity whether you want to build a career as a Parts Specialist, work full or part-time, or explore other career paths within our company.

What you will be doing:

  • Providing auto parts solutions for retail and wholesale customers in person and over the phone
  • Using your parts knowledge to assist team members and customers
  • Delivering outstanding customer care and creating a positive shopping experience
  • Welcoming customers and engaging with them to ensure satisfaction
  • Using technology such as computers, cash registers, telephones, and paper catalogs

This opportunity is ideal if you:
  • Enjoy helping customers with their auto parts needs
  • Have experience in the automotive industry or enjoy tinkering with cars and trucks
  • Are willing to learn about automotive parts
  • Want to grow your career in a supportive environment

What you’ll need:
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Experience in a parts store or automotive industry, or willingness to learn
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Technical or Trade school courses or degree (preferred)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail setting
  • Strong listening skills and empathy

Nice-to-have skills:
  • Customer Service experience
  • Knowledge of cataloging and inventory management systems
  • ASE Certifications

What’s in it for you:
  • Great team and brand
  • Competitive pay
  • Excellent health benefits and 401K
  • Stable, Fortune 200 company with a family-like culture
  • Opportunities for promotion and career development
  • Ongoing training and support
