We are more than just a parts store and are looking for talented individuals to join our NAPA family! As a NAPA Counter Sales associate, you are the "face of the retail store" and the go-to person when customers enter for their automotive needs. You don’t need to be able to tear down engines (though that’s a plus) – a background in automotive parts is essential. This role offers a great opportunity whether you want to grow your career as a Parts Specialist, work full/part-time, or just explore the industry.

What You Will Be Doing

• Providing auto parts solutions for retail and wholesale customers in person and over the phone
• Assisting team members with customer questions using your parts knowledge
• Delivering outstanding customer care and interactions
• Bringing energy and focus to our fast-paced stores
• Welcoming customers and ensuring a positive experience
• Using technology (computer, cash register, phone, catalog system)

What You’ll Need

• Valid Driver’s License

• High School Diploma or GED; technical or trade courses are a plus
• Excellent communication skills
• Love fast-paced retail environments
• Great listening skills and empathy

Additional Preferred Qualifications

• Passion or background in automotive, heavy equipment, farm, diesel, marine, or dealership
• Experience with cataloging and inventory systems
• Customer-centric attitude
• ASE Certifications (a plus but not required)
