We are more than just a Parts Store and are looking for talented individuals to join our NAPA family! As a NAPA Counter Sales associate, you are the "face of the retail store" and the go-to person for customers seeking automotive parts and services. No need to be able to tear down engines—though that’s a plus—but a background in automotive parts is important.

What You Will Be Doing

  1. Providing auto parts solutions for retail and wholesale customers in person and over the phone.
  2. Assisting team members with customer questions using your parts knowledge.
  3. Delivering outstanding customer service and creating a positive shopping experience.
  4. Engaging with customers to foster a friendly environment.
  5. Using technology such as computers, cash registers, and catalogs.

This Is The Right Opportunity For You If You

  1. Enjoy helping customers with auto parts and service questions.
  2. Have experience in the automotive industry or enjoy tinkering and repairing vehicles.
  3. Are willing to learn about automotive parts if you lack experience.
  4. Seek a team where you can grow your career.

What You’ll Need

  1. Valid Driver’s License.
  2. Experience in a parts store or automotive industry, or willingness to learn.
  3. High School Diploma or GED; technical or trade courses are a plus.
  4. Excellent communication skills.
  5. Enjoy fast-paced retail environments.
  6. Strong listening skills and empathy.

And If You Have This, Even Better

  1. Background or passion for automotive, heavy equipment, marine, or dealership industries.
  2. Experience in parts stores, auto body shops, or retail.
  3. Knowledge of inventory management systems.
  4. Customer-centric attitude.
  5. ASE Certifications (a plus).

What’s In It For You

  1. Great team and brand.
  2. Competitive pay and benefits, including health and 401K.
  3. Stable, Fortune 200 company with a family feel.
  4. Opportunities for promotion and career development.
  5. Training and ongoing support.
  6. Pay rate of $17.75/hr.
