As a NAPA Counter Sales, you are the "face of the retail store" and the first point of contact for customers seeking automotive parts. You don’t need to be able to rebuild engines, but a background in automotive parts is preferred. This role offers a great opportunity whether you want to build a career as a Parts Specialist, work full or part-time, or explore other career paths within us.

What You Will Be Doing

1. Providing auto parts solutions to retail and wholesale customers in person or over the phone.
2. Assisting team members with parts knowledge to answer customer questions.
3. Delivering outstanding customer service and interactions.
4. Bringing customer focus and high energy to our fast-paced stores.
5. Welcoming customers and engaging with them to ensure a positive experience.
6. Using technology, including computers, cash registers, and catalogs.

What You’ll Need

1. Valid Driver’s License.
2. Experience in a parts store or automotive industry, or willingness to learn.
3. High School Diploma or GED; technical or trade school education is a plus.
4. Excellent communication skills.
5. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment.
6. Good listening skills and empathy for customers.

Additional Qualifications (Preferred but not required)

1. Background or passion for automotive, heavy equipment, farm, diesel, marine, or dealership industries.
2. Experience in cataloging or inventory management systems.
3. Customer-centric attitude.
4. ASE Certifications.
