Job Summary:

Store Clerk: Assists customers with donations, selections, and purchases. Operates cash register, responds to customer questions, maintains store cleanliness and displays, and ensures the security of store items and cash register.

Sorting Room Worker: Receives, sorts, prices, and prepares donated items for display. Determines item suitability and pricing based on standards. Maintains orderliness and cleanliness of the warehouse area.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Effective customer service techniques
• Basic mathematics principles
• Ability to sort items by categories
• Ability to assess item condition
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently

Education and Experience:

No formal education or experience required.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to meet attendance requirements
• Ability to communicate in English
• Physical ability to lift, carry, push, and pull objects under 25 lbs.
• Moderate mobility involving sitting, standing, and walking within the same building
