Job summary

Woodlake Trails is seeking a Store Clerk to greet customers, handle sales transactions, stock merchandise, and ensure a clean, well-organized store environment near Geneva Township. You will assist with inventory, communicate shortages, and support overnight campers with passes.

The role requires reliable attendance, basic computer skills, and a valid driver's license. Compensation includes a $15.50 per hour wage with benefits and flexible shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (Required).
• Professional appearance.
• Basic computer proficiency including the ability to use email and the internet.
• Must have valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers, answers the telephone courteously, and completes all sales transactions (Essential).
• Ensures merchandise inventory is kept neat, attractively displayed and sufficiently stocked. Communicates inventory shortages to the RV Resort Manager and Store Supervisor (Essential).
• Operates cash register, fuel console, lottery machine, money order machine, and telecom transactions (Essential).
• Receives payment from customer in cash, check or credit card and accurately counts and provides change when applicable. Reports cash shortages to the RV Resort Manager as needed (Essential).
• Assists with merchandise orders, receives and verifies vendor deliveries, and stocks merchandise as requested. Maintains a good working relationship with vendors (Essential).
• Performs shift opening and closing duties as assigned by Store Supervisor
• Greets and registers overnight campers and provides passes to registered guests
• Cleans and maintains both the inside and outside areas of the store
• Inspects store facilities and equipment to ensure the safety, cleanliness and proper working order. Reports all issues to RV Resort Manager and Store Supervisor when applicable
• Other duties as assigned
