Job description

Responsible for the store point of sale procedures while delivering great guest services. This position will include evening hours until 10pm and weekend/holiday shifts.

DUTIES
  • Ensure that all products are served to guests professionally, in accordance with Health Codes and procedures.
  • Learn all operating systems, products, flavors, and standards, with an emphasis on ergonomics and safety in scooping and other work functions.
  • Assist in daily store operations, including staff appearance, customer service, cleanliness, safety compliance, merchandising, production, and inventory management.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through friendly, timely service and proper product handling.
  • Follow opening and closing procedures promptly and accurately.
  • Maintain proper product portioning, track lost product, and record usage on the daily inventory form.
  • Adhere to cash register and cash handling procedures to ensure transaction accuracy.
  • Support store marketing efforts, including community donations, catering, and event programs.
  • Participate in store planning meetings and other relevant activities.
  • Stay informed about resort happenings, answer questions, and find information as needed.
  • Perform additional duties such as guest reservations, store promotions, cleaning, and creating store displays.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Strong math skills; comfortable handling money and giving change.
  • Knowledge of Windows, Excel, Word, Teams, reservation software, and POS systems is helpful.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and be proactive.
  • Capable of multitasking while serving customers.
  • Highly organized, energetic, team-oriented, with a positive attitude and commitment to customer service.
  • Physical requirements include handling large merchandise, lifting ice cream containers up to 17 pounds, managing supplies, cleaning, and standing for up to 8 hours.
  • Availability to work nights, weekends, extended hours, and holidays, as the store operates 7 days a week.
  • Well-groomed appearance.
