Job summary

CHS Inc. is seeking a Part-Time Store Clerk for our Cenex Zip Trip location in Grafton, ND. You will greet customers, assist with purchases and maintain a clean, organized store environment to ensure a positive shopping experience.

This role offers a flexible 24-hour weekly schedule, a $500 retention bonus opportunity, and chances for growth within CHS. Prior retail or customer service experience is preferred, and basic computer skills help with checkout and inventory tasks.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Retail and/or Retail Merchandising and Customer Service.
• Must meet minimum age requirement.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English to customers and coworkers.
• Basic math and computer skills to operate store equipment such as cash register and time/records systems.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours preferred.
• Pre-employment screening may be required per job requirements and guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service. Greet customers promptly and courteously and assist with browsing or checking out.
• Perform cashier responsibilities including accepting payments and issuing receipts.
• Display and organize products in the store for easy location by customers.
• Maintain the store appearance through dusting, cleaning and restocking merchandise.
• Assist with ordering merchandise and tracking inventory.
• Monitor customers to assist with loss prevention.
• Assist with preparation of displays and promotions.
• Maintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
