Job summary

Paycom - ATS in the United States seeks a friendly cashier to ring up customer purchases and ensure total customer satisfaction. You will accurately scan items, process cash, checks and card payments, and provide correct change.

You will help with stocking, merchandising, price marking, inventory support, and maintaining a clean checkout area. Excellent attendance and willingness to assist with large purchases and store duties are essential.

Qualifications

• 0–1 years of related retail cashier experience preferred.
• Ability to handle cash, checks and card transactions.
• Strong customer service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Scan and ring out customer purchases using POS register, including cash, check and charge transactions.
• Provide correct change to customers and ensure accurate totals.
• Assist customers with large purchases and carry items to their cars if needed.
• Replenish inventory from in-store stock and incoming orders.
• Maintain a clean, organized check-out area and general store cleanliness.
• Assist with price marking, merchandising and inventory management in checkout area.
• Support in identifying and returning outdated or overstocked merchandise to suppliers.
• Package and prepare items for home or business delivery as needed.
• Attend mandatory trainings and perform other duties as assigned.
