Job summary

Goodwill of South Central Wisconsin is seeking a Janitor/Cleaner to help maintain a clean, safe store environment while supporting friendly, high-quality customer service. You will be responsible for cleaning floors, restrooms, and common areas, greeting donors, stocking supplies, and assisting with donations as needed.

The role emphasizes teamwork, adherence to core values, and a positive, professional demeanor in all customer and donor interactions.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate & maintain cleaning equipment: floor scrubber, vacuum, broom, mop & bucket.
• Good interpersonal and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Cleans all floors, including under garment racks, using a broom, mop, vacuum, or floor scrubber.
• Cleans restrooms: mirrors, counters, toilets and floors, spot cleaning walls, and wiping all handles.
• Provide best in class service by greeting customers/donors and inviting them to return.
• Stocks restroom supplies and revisits throughout their shift to complete touch-ups, as needed.
• Routinely picks up debris, hangers, and product inside and outside store.
• Collects and empties trash from public areas, restrooms, breakrooms, and offices.
• Cleans dressing rooms: mirrors, benches, baseboards, and floors.
• Routinely dusts ledges and tops of fitting rooms, and underneath racks.
• Maintain neat, clean and safe environment by following established 5S principles and safety guidelines.
• Consistently interact with co-workers, shoppers, and donors in a professional manner.
