Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking a dedicated maintenance team member to keep floor areas, seating, restrooms, and back offices clean and safe. You will follow SOPs, support store programs, and assist with repairs while providing courteous service to customers and team members.

Applicants should be able to lift 50 pounds, work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends, and thrive in a fast-paced environment while upholding health and safety standards and quality goals.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Stand/walk 6-8 hours in an 8-hour shift.
• Work in a wet and cold environment.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provides excellent maintenance service.
• Performs all duties on daily and weekly maintenance lists.
• Supports teams with cleaning projects.
• Performs minor repairs and improvements.
• Participates in ordering supplies for maintenance.
• Helps with cleaning emergencies.
• Maintains landscaping and parking lot.
• Performs continual cleaning of all store departments.
• Arrives on time, groomed and ready to work; attends trainings.
• Reports safety hazards and violations.
• Performs other duties as assigned by leadership.
