Job summary

The GIANT Company in Middletown, PA is seeking a team member responsible for cleaning office spaces, restrooms, break and lunchroom areas, and ensuring a tidy store environment. You will review duties at shift start, follow PPE requirements, and help maintain a safe, welcoming store for neighbors and customers.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Able to communicate and understand company policies and safety regulations.
• Able to meet ergonomic and physical requirements with or without accommodation.
• Able to use, or learn to use, the equipment and tools used to perform this job.
• Must complete the company introductory period (30 or 60 days).
• Must read, write, and communicate in English as it relates to this job and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Review the work schedule and prepare for duties at shift start.
• Clean and vacuum floors in the office and conference spaces.
• Clean and mop tile floors in restrooms and break areas.
• Remove all trash, operate compactor and bailer, clean up spills, and use power washer.
• Dust and wash surfaces.
• Wash mirrors, glass, surfaces, floors, and equipment in break rooms and restrooms.
• Resupply items as needed.
• Use floor cones to designate potentially hazardous floor conditions.
