Job summary

Living Spaces Furniture is seeking a dedicated Janitor to maintain a clean, safe, and guest-ready environment across showroom, restrooms, offices, warehouse, and exterior areas. The role involves operating cleaning equipment, sanitizing surfaces, and collaborating with store teams to uphold high standards during business hours.

The position requires a High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent) with at least one year of retail custodial/janitorial experience.

Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma or GED required, with equivalent experience considered.
Certificates: None required.
Supervisory responsibilities: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Responsibilities

Conduct daily store walkthroughs to identify cleanliness, safety, and maintenance concerns.
Maintain showroom, restrooms, offices, warehouse, breakrooms, and exterior areas cleanliness.
Operate cleaning equipment (floor scrubbers, vacuums) to keep areas clean daily.
Clean, sanitize, dust, and wipe surfaces and high-touch areas per safety standards.
Coordinate with Operations to keep showroom guest-ready during business hours.
Monitor cleaning supply inventory and notify leadership when replenishment is needed.
Follow safety protocols and proper use of chemicals and equipment.
Perform additional custodial tasks as needed.
