Job summary

Living Spaces Furniture in Fremont, CA seeks a Janitor to maintain a clean, safe, and guest-ready environment across showroom, restrooms, offices, warehouse, and exterior areas. You will operate floor scrubbers and vacuums, sanitize surfaces, and partner with store teams to meet daily cleaning standards while adhering to safety guidelines and company procedures.

Education: HS diploma; experience in retail custodial preferred.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Minimum 1 year retail custodial/janitorial experience, commercial facilities preferred.
Equivalent combination of education and experience considered.

Responsibilities

Conduct daily store walkthroughs to address cleanliness and safety concerns.
Maintain cleanliness across showroom, restrooms, offices, warehouse, and exterior areas.
Operate floor scrubbers and vacuums daily to clean tiles and carpets.
Clean, sanitize and wipe surfaces and high-touch areas per standards.
Partner with Operations to keep showroom guest-ready during hours.
Monitor cleaning supplies and notify leadership for replenishment.
Follow safety protocols and proper use of chemicals/equipment.
Perform additional custodial tasks as needed.
