What You’ll Do

• Deliver an exceptional guest experience by providing friendly, prompt service at the register or self‑checkout.
• Suggest additional products to enhance guest purchases.
• Address guest concerns with urgency and involve managers as needed.
• Foster a team‑oriented, respectful work environment.
• Keep our stores stocked & fresh – ensure food and beverage items are available and up to quality standards.
• Maintain cleanliness in food prep areas and follow all safety regulations.
• Restock shelves, coolers, and display areas as needed.
• Keep the store clean and organized inside and out.
• Complete regular cleaning tasks to ensure a great experience for guests.
• Assist in inventory management and restocking.
• Prepare, handle, and serve food in accordance with safety and quality standards.
• Operate the cash register efficiently and accurately, process transactions, handle cash and card payments, and provide excellent guest service.
• Act as the first point of contact for guest concerns, responding respectfully and compassionately while recognizing when to elevate issues to a shift manager.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols when handling chemicals and keep the register area clean and stocked.
• Maintain a clean and organized food service area, ensuring proper storage and labeling of ingredients.
• Promote promotional food items to raise awareness and drive product engagement.
• Respond to feedback from guests, team members, and leaders, making necessary adjustments to enhance performance.
• Be a reliable team player by arriving on time for scheduled shifts, supporting teammates throughout their shift, sharing important information, and working effectively with individuals from different backgrounds.

What We’re Looking For

• High School Diploma or GED (or in progress).
• Previous experience in a fast‑paced, guest‑focused environment is a plus.
• A team player who takes the initiative and enjoys working with people.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks such as bending and standing.
• May be required to obtain and maintain food handler or alcohol server permits, depending on state/local regulations.
• 1–2 years work experience preferred; retail or customer service experience preferred.
